MICHIGAN / INDIANA / KENTUCKY REGION

Seymour to join Verizon 4G LTE network this month – The Jackson County Banner – Jackson County, IN (June 6, 2012)

Verizon Wireless recently announced it is bringing the nation’s largest 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to Seymour on Thursday, June 21. With the 4G LTE network, customers can use 4G LTE wireless devices to access the Internet faster, listen to music or watch video, take advantage of thousands of applications, and stay in touch with family and friends, all with speeds up to 10 times faster. “People across Indiana are increasingly relying on tablets, smartphones and apps to stay organized, connected and entertained,” said John Granby, president Indiana/Kentucky/Michigan Region, Verizon Wireless.

Verizon Wireless Unveils Share Everything Plans – Indiana’s NewsCenter – Fort Wayne, IN (June 12, 2012)

Verizon Wireless announced Tuesday its new Share Everything Plans that will forever change the way customers purchase wireless services. Share Everything Plans include unlimited voice minutes, unlimited text, video and picture messaging and a single data allowance for up to 10 Verizon Wireless devices.

ILLINOIS / WISCONSIN REGION

News in brief: Verizon seeks phones for HopeLine cause - www.lacrossetribune.com - La Crosse, WI (June 7 and 14, 2012)

Wisconsin residents are being encouraged to donate no-longer-used cell phones and accessories for HopeLine, a program that provides help to victims of domestic abuse.

IndyFest driver appearance schedulewww.jsonline.com - Milwaukee, WI (June 12, 2012)

Between public appearances beforehand and the scheduled sessions at the Milwaukee Mile, the drivers involved with IndyFest will be available a number of times this weekend… 6-7 p.m. – Will Power, Verizon, N95 W18141 Appleton Ave., Menomonee Falls.

KTVI-FOX, Channel 2 in St. Louis, welcomed retail manager Matt Baliva in studio to talk Father’s Day and the best apps for dad.

Temporary Cell Towers to be Installed for All-Star WeekWDAF TV FOX 4 - Kansas City, MO (June 13, 2012)

FOX 4 News ran a TV story on its 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. newscasts about Verizon Wireless’ plan to install COLT trucks at the All-Star Game and related events so fans will be able to call, text and post messages and photos even while there is a significant increase in demand. Verizon Wireless spokesperson Brenda Hill was featured in the story telling how there already is 4G LTE in the area and that the COLT installations are another example of Verizon Wireless’ commitment to network quality.

OHIO / WEST VIRGINIA / PENNSYLVANIA REGION

Verizon completes high-speed wireless network in Cabell, Logan - The State Journal – Charleston, WV (June 11, 2012)

Verizon has completed expansion of new 4G LTE coverage in Huntington and Logan County. The network will be available in these areas beginning June 21. In addition, another expansion scheduled for completion next year will provide nearly 65 percent of the state’s population with high-speed wireless Internet service. West Virginia will also be the leading state for Verizon’s 4G deployments in markets where no 3G infrastructure previously existed.

Verizon Wireless Share Everything Plans - TechFanatiX – Ohio (June 12, 2012)

Today, Verizon Wireless announced a new way for their customers to purchase wireless service.  I know, I know, some of you are already squirming in your seats!  Not to worry, participation is completely voluntary!! … Should I switch?  For me, absolutely.  Really, it is a no brainer.  Look at the value here . . . I will pay $.06 more a month and go from 1400 minutes to unlimited.  For me, no more worry about minutes overage charges.

Verizon Aims To Simplify With Shared Plan - WCCO - Minneapolis, MN (June 12, 2012)

Say goodbye to multiple bills for your numerous electronic devices. Verizon Wireless announced a way those devices can share one data plan on Tuesday. Not only is it changing the way consumers purchase wireless services, it also means no more counting minutes or text messages. Kristen Bahner, an IT Project Manager, said she’s used to managing multiple devices.

Searching for a Father’s Day gift? Try a dad app - KARE-11 - Minneapolis, MN (June 15, 2012)

If your dad is into high tech gadgets you might want to pass on the standard tie or coffee mug for Father’s Day this weekend. Dave Bourland from Verizon visited KARE 11 Sunrise to share ideas of apps that could be the perfect present. Here are his picks.
